Katie & Andrew: Engaged!

..Until tomorrow! The epitomy of happy. And hilarious, which is a big, huge plus in my book. This was such a fun shoot for me. Katie and I went to grade school together, but it'd been years since our paths crossed. In town from Phoenix, AZ, I set out with the happy couple the day before their wedding to snap photos sans wedding gown and tuxedo, with the thought of their nuptials a mere twenty-four hours away. As we traipsed around Innis Woods and Old Worthington, I realized what was so incredible about these moments- lighthearted, free and easy, my gorgeous subjects blissfully basking in a glow of pre-wedding happiness. Real life was nowhere in sight, except for, possibly, the traffic. Katie and Andrew are just adorable. Down-to-earth and funny, their witty banter so heartwarming. First and foremost, best friends.
