Lifestyle: The Eubanks

I keep lucking out with cute families! You can spot a happy, well adjusted kid a mile away. They're the "bloom where they're planted" little ones. The ones with huge grins, imaginations running wild, quick to collapse into fits of laughter. Our friend Alex has the cutest little dude! Just shy of turning two, Talon played happily alongside his daddy for a super fun morning of photos. And boy does he love his dad! These two are quite the pair. Tiny little arms flew around Alex's neck all morning, followed by plenty of giggle fits and Ooooo!s. What an amazing reflection on his dad.. happy son, incredible father. And when Alex's girlfriend (and my friend!) Sam showed up, Talon lit up, running into her arms. See for yourself.. ADORABLE love at finest!

Baby Bump: Nathan & Traci

THIS is why I love photography. Sure, the constant movement, creativity and newness present everytime I hold my camera does something wild to me, like make my insides flip and shout hooray! But meeting and spending time with wonderful people? It is, hands down, my favorite part. Happiness is inevidable. And I love capturing happiness during big moments. A new addition, a first addition, to a family is life's biggest blessing. I met Traci and Nathan through their sister, and I'm so happy our paths finally crossed. They are a completely wonderful couple, anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little boy, Cade Michael. We met at Schiller Park on a gorgeous evening to capture the two of them, with a bump in between, before the little man is in their arms!

Nathan and Traci, I had such a great time with you & am so happy we've gotten to know one another! Cade is one lucky little guy, he has an incredibly beautiful family waiting for his arrival! Hugs & blessings to all three of you!

Lifestyle: The Arthur Family

Autumn brings about it's own new life, and with it, a simply breathtaking backdrop; the year's last umph of beauty. Pair it with an adorable, growing family and a photographer has a pretty perfect morning! I set out with Scott, Angie, their handsome little guy, Matthew, and family pup, Lucy, a few weeks ago to grab some of that yummy morning light I love so very much. We explored Glacier Park in Dublin, and it proved to be every bit as gorgeous as we had hoped! I'm embarrassed to admit I never even knew this existed until Angie mentioned it! Obviously, since we got caught by the rangers shooting in an off-limits spot! Since he was nice enough to let us finish (I've found, where there's a will, there's a way.. especially if you have a big camera and turn on your sweet voice!) and even recommended a couple other places, we were able to shoot just what we were going for.
